Poom Yoadjarust, PA-C

Poom Yoadjarust, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant who joined New York Allergy & Sinus Centers in 2019. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry, completed pre-medical studies at Columbia University, and received his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College. During his training, Poom was awarded both Outstanding Academic Achievement and Outstanding Didactic Achievement Awards, and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society.

Prior to joining NY Allergy & Sinus Centers, Poom worked in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, gaining extensive experience in the evaluation and management of complex ENT and allergy-related conditions.

Poom is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). His clinical interests include allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) and the diagnosis and treatment of allergy-related skin conditions, such as contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, acute urticaria and chronic urticaria.

I want to say the Front desk receptionist Emily was such a wonderful and kindhearted person. I’ve been going to this location for several years and I’m very happy with my allergy treatment. I usually see allergist Nuttapoom Yoadjarust (he goes by Poom) and he’s so lovely. I get regular allergy shots and I have found them to be very helpful at minimizing my symptoms especially during fall and spring when pollen is at its worst. The office is easy to schedule with in person, and they are very flexible with changes over the phone as well. I’ve gotten a variety of testing done here over the years and learned a lot about what triggers reactions on my skin, etc. You will have to stick with the treatment for a few years to see solid results but it definitely makes a difference. Overall I would highly recommend this location and I thank the practitioners and receptionists here for everything they do!
